How good do you gues think he'll do in the competition? Do you think he'll be able to beat out Burns' seventy-something yard long ball? It's hard for me to picture somebody throwing it that far, that's an awesome arm. I know Turner is smart though, and most of the challenge is mental from what I hear, so I think he will do very good in it.
How did he do in the XI Classic?

Hard for me to imagine his throwing the ball 75 yards, but I've never see him really just rip it so maybe. I'll bet, though, that he has the strongest arm of the QBs who are there this year. He can do in the neighborhood of 60 or 65 without a problem, and that's with a live rush.

Well, I heard Turner say on the radio earlier that he thought he was hoping to throw it at least 60 yards. Can some of you guys give me all the info on what went on at the QB1 Challenge? Thanks guys

I missed them on the radio this evening. Got busy doing something else and forgot to listen. How much airtime did Bubba get?

On the physical portion of the competition Turner's Numbers were 4.51 forty, 32 vertical, 9" 8 broad jump, 4.3 shuttle. The competition was set up with the top three in each of the four field events accuracy stationary targets ,accuracy Moving targets, agility, and deep ball. competing in a final. Turner actually led the accuracy stationary targets event going into the final. Turner led the deep ball from start to finish. Turner Finished third overall in the competition.

I would guess that performance cemented a free college education for him. I know that'll be a big relief to Momma Turner. A 4.51 forty shows he's gained more speed in the off-season too. How many years has it been since Crossett had a starting QB with that kind of speed?

That's awesome, it's great to see an Eagle do that good in a competition like this. Does anyone know how far he threw the ball?

Wow, same distance Mitch Mustain threw it I think, nice. I watched that highlight video, it and it was good, but it looked kinda like a Gabriel Bryant highlight video at times. Do you think he'll throw the deep ball less this year, not having him to throw it to?

Heath, for real, you should put a link to that highlight video up on Fearless. The rest of the 5A would probably like to get a look at this kid. I was very impressed--he seemed to show good poise in the pocket, delevering the football just before getting hammered at times. Looks like Crossett has a good one, I just hope they have the WRs for him to sling it to.
