Well, a few of the folks on here know who I am. For those of you that read Fearless Fridays, you too know who I am; for the others though, the name's Kyle O'Neal, and I'm looking forward to getting to know ya'll these next couple of weeks. Heath has allowed me the privaledge to help him with his big pre-season write-up/football edition, and I'm thrilled to get the chance. I've got family in Hamburg (I know...BOOO! right?) but I've attended a few Eagle games in my day (most recently, the 2003 play-off game in which ya'll defeated Wynne). I'll be hitting up some 2-a-day practices this August, and I'll let ya'll know which one's, so maybe I can get some company, and someone to tell me who everyone is--to better cover your team. Looking forward to it, being a kid from good ole Warren, it's nice to stretch out and cover someone besides the Jacks! Hope ya'll serve me up a warm welcome!

Welcome Kyle! I am going to try and make it to some of the two a days, so I might see you around. Also if you are ever sittin up in Heath's office, ask him about me... he will let you know...lol. I hope you learn to love the Eagles just as much as we all do!

So Heath, what do I need to know my friend? Hahaha. I hope you can make it out for some 2-a-days Emily, I could use the company for sure, and as I mentioned before, someone to tell me who everyone is out there--cause I'll be just about clueless.
By the way, when does everything get underway up there?

There's going to have to be some investigation done to see if there are going to be two-a-days at all. They haven't been able to have them for a couple years because of a teacher training program that forced the coaches to be in the clasroom in the mornings. If that program is not going to be used this year, they may do two practices. If not, they will have one long one in the afternoon. I'm assuming there will be some form of practice starting Tuesday.
Emily, get on it and find out.

Last I heard the team is meeting on Monday and the schedule won't be finalized until then, but that was more than a week ago and I got the info from a player.

I haven't been able to catch up with Coach. You know with the track construction and all, it is hard to catch him at the field house like you normally would during the summer. The last time I asked him about practice, he told me that it would start on Tuesday 8-1, but that is really all he told me. And the player that I have been getting my info from has moved back to Warren for the moment, and most likely won't be back for a few weeks, if he comes back at all. Heath you know who I am talking about. I will see if I can catch someone tomorrow, and I promise to post any info I find out.
