...I call the most important games on the schedule the opener at Robinson, the next week at White Hall and (as usual) the late date at Monticello.
You want to win them all, of course, so all of them are important, but these would seem to be the pivotal games. I think that you could drop those first two conference games and still make the playoffs by beating Monticello on Oct. 27. But it's a road game and Crossett never has won there in the Ingram era. As a matter of fact Crossett never has won there as long as I've been covering the Eagles.

Have you seen enough of the team to say how good you think the Eagles will be? Or, oh, I dunno...make some predictions or something lol j/k

Gimme another week. I'll be ready to rock after the Maroon and White Game.
I saw Hamburg practice today. Coach Greg Johnson was irritated with the Lions. The offense really struggled from what I saw. I think this team's defense is going to be its strong suit...you'd expect that, with all of the returning starters on that side. All of the skills players on the offensive end graduated--Chris Diggs, Ben Johnson, Jonathan Williams, Colvin Stock, Eric Bonnett.

Uh oh, that's good to hear about their offense, lol. Okay, I think I can wait another week, lol.
Who is their running back going to be this year, have they decided?

Who is their running back going to be this year, have they decided? Looks like it's going to be Courtney Rachal. Look out for that one. He'll be the only 250-plus pound I back in the state. If he really does well at that spot this year, he'll have an opportunity to be a D-I fullback. I think already that he could be a mid-major D-I defensive end or linebacker. He definitely could play D-II d-end. Academics might be an issue.

I meant to say who do yaw think will be the biggest factor yhis season! Terrell Bryant. I don't think there's any question about that. After that I'd say Gvona Turner. Bryant's season is going to be reflective of the team's season. If he breaks out with the kind of year that (for instance) Chris Diggs suprised everyone with last year at Hamburg, Crossett is going to be in the mix for a conference title. But Bryant's gotta have help out of that O-line too.

What's going on with Bull Tate? He was big news last year, he was expected to be a huge asset to the team I thought. Did he not quite turn out to be like everyone thought he'd be?

Looks like Tate's going to be played on defense primarily, perhaps even exclusively. At least what I've seen and heard of it so far, he's your middle linebacker.

Hey, as long as he's good at what he's doing on the field, I don't guess it matters what position he's at, lol.
