I know the hamburg game is barely over but what about the owls. They lost big in week one and won big tonight against a very weak Dermott. Eagles desparately need a win before heading into conference play.

i hope that eagles do win because i cant rember the last time the eagles stared 0-3 As best I recall it hasn't happened in my 10 years of covering Crossett and I know that it didn't happen in 1996, the year before I got here. Even in 2000, Crossett's worst under coach Ingram, the Eagles beat McGehee in non-conference play IIRC.

Well the only thing that i can say is that at conference play hasn't stared yet and that they definitely looked better this week then they did last week

Does McGehee have any talent coming back this year? Who's the RB this year, and is he capable of following in the foot-steps of Johnny Polite?

I DONT KNOW IF THEY HAVE ANYONE TO COMPARE TO POLITE, BUT SUPPOSELY THEIR BEST RUNNING BACK WAS HURT AGAINST BAUXITE( NOT THAT HE WOULD HAVE MADE A 40 PT DIFFERANCE) AND WAS SUPPOSE TO BE BACK LAST WEEK AGAINST DERMOTT. NOTHING BUT ALOT OF TRASH TALKING COMES OUT OF MCGEHEE ANWAYS. GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK TO THE EAGLES.

I see already the fans seem to be abandoning things. Where is everyone at?
From what I've picked up on other sites McGehee appears to be week on the offensive line. However they are supposed to be getting their speedy RB back this week after missing the first 2 weeks with a knee sprain. Speedy backs seem to give the Eagles problems when they go to the outside.

I'm still here ;D lol
Hopefully I'll be at the game this Friday night, and hopefully the crowd has learned to be loud like last week from now on.

I don't have anything "technical" to add, but I do think that we have this game in the bag. The boys want a win desperately and I think this will be the game to give them their mojo back! GO EAGLES:)

I heard yesterday that Randy was dressed out in full pads in practice, and was taking hits. Hopefully he will be on the field Friday night to help us beat McGehee.

Are there any players injured during the Hamburg game that won't play against McGehee?

No injuries that I've heard of but at the very least Jerome Williams won't play because of last week's ejection. Rules state that a player (or coach) ejected from a game also must miss the next game.

Ejection? I must have missed that, what happened?

What I was told by a couple of Hamburg players was that he was taking swings at 1 or 2 players. He had already been warned not too long before. I asked a couple of Crossett players about it and they said that his actions was nothing new, anyway, that is what I was told by both sides.

i can understand getting mad , who couldnt get mad ur playing ur rival team, but a unsportman like conduct pental there are no excuses. These pentals are just adding more problems on top of the ones that they already have.

Wow...being on the field I didn't realize how many penalties. You miss a lot down there that you see from up in the press box.
