I want to go on record as saying the Eagles will win tommorrow night. I truly believe that things are going to turn around and not over!!! ;D I don't claim to be a whiz at sports statistics or football regs, but I know a team that has the determination and will power (mixed with a lot of heart) to bring it home tommorrow night. I will definitly be there and I hope to see you all too!

I am putting this question to him at this very moment via e-mail. I know that he gets bombarded with questions about CHS football, but I think he takes pity on me since I am so football retarded! I just think they look cute in their uniforms! LOL ;D

if they do win out can they stil qualify for the playoffs Mathematically anything and everything still is possible, including the conference title. In reality it's going to be very tough to make it in.

Here it is, straight from Coach T himself:
MRS. DAY, THANK YOU FOR ASKING. YES IT IS POSSIBLE FOR US TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS SHOULD WE WIN FROM HERE ON OUT. EVEN IF WE WERE TO LOSE TO PA AND WIN OUT IT IS STILL POSSIBLE DUE TO THE POINT SYSTEM. THANKS FOR ASKING. I KNOW YOU CARE.

Definitely disheartened. I thought that would be either a winnable game or a VERY close loss. I couldn't believe the final score, but oh well...maybe next week. Hopefully the players haven't just flat out forgotten how to win, maybe they can still pull off a few wins this season. We have the talent and speed, I just don't understand the problem.

I have to say congratulations to Kyle Cockerham for being chosen the player of the game. I have really enjoyed watching him play this year. He plays with a lot of heart & seems like a great guy.

It certainly was a "winnable" game. I think the only ones that haven't been thus far this season have been Magnolia and White Hall.

My 2 cents..........
Turnovers and big plays once again killed the Eagles. The inability to stop anything going outside continues to hurt Crossett. The WH qb is a soph by the the way so we will have to deal with him 2 more years.
We are finally getting the offensive scheme to work. I'd like to see Boston out there as receiver to give us an extra set of hands but thats not my call. I'm not being negative about the ones we have I just think he could strenghten what we have and give us another threat. He had great hands as a Jr. High player.
WH was more disciplined this year than I have ever seen them. I think that is attributed to the new coach. I kept waiting on them to self destruct and they didn't The new coach may have them headed in the right direction.
Four more left and as we found out Friday anyone can be beaten at any time. white Hall and Monticello pulled off some upsets. It's time for Crossett to do the same. Lets disrupt the conference and win a few we aren't supposed to.

WH was more disciplined this year than I have ever seen them. I think that is attributed to the new coach. I didn't see much difference. There was one play in which the Cougars had three different penalties on one play and SEVERAL in which they had two. No unsportsmanlike conduct calls that I can remember but there could have been. One of their players was jacking his jaw at the Crossett coaches when he came to the near sideline. The athleticism of the program though is just unbelievable. If they only could hire the right coach up there, we're talking about not just a state power, but a regional power, every single year.

i talked to some of the boys and they really are upset about how the year is going. they are more upset about the fingers being pointed not by other players but by the coaches telling them that they are not trying and letting them know what a bad job they are doing. I have always thought if a team wins the coach praises the team if they lose he always took the blame but guess its not like that any more.

Yeah, I thought that's why they got paid so much lol. I don't see how it can be the players 'fault' this year, because they don't seem to commit TOO many penalties in comparison to other teams. It's weird, we have great athletes, good coaches, but something is just missing. Maybe the line isn't quite big enough yet, I dunno.

i will be the first to way they are extremely young but i also keep saying that they are not being played in the correct positions. Tons of potential but it just going to waist.
