Congratulations to MO!!
Mo has played steady baseball over the years. He played on two state championship baseball teams in the Bambino league.
(10 year old and 12 year old) and I can think of only one year that his age group didn't win district in Bambino and Babe Ruth play. Offhand, I can also think of a homerun hit in State Tourn. play in Maumelle as an 11 year old.
He has played 3rd, SS, 1st , OF and even catcher....but as a pitcher is where I've seen the most improvement in the last few years. HS and AM. Legion ball were good, but it sounds like juco was really good for MO. I didn't realize he had gotten to 90 mph+. Good "stuff", smart pitching, and .....speed. Way to go Mo!
Mo throws right but bats left and has earned the position of lead off batter more times than not. Keep it up Mo!!
More reason to make a trip down to watch ULM play ball!!
