This years team should be ok...From I what I've been told they do have the talent to make the state tournament but depth will be a problem early in the season. This years team returns 6 seniors (which 4/6 start), 2 juniors, and adds 2 sophmores.

The eagles played a solid game the other night against hamburg the score was 49-45 Hamburg. I believe the eagles will do pretty well this year. What are your thoughts on the game

What are your thoughts on the game I saw the game, the Eagles did really well. They only had 8 available players for the game, that really hurt them. They had 4 in street clothes on the bench who were academically ineligible. If they can get some help, they can be good. Rod Brown impressed me much more as a bb player then he did as a fb player, (my opinion). Hamburg had 3 big men theyn rotated all night and wore us down. |

All Eagle basketball teams won tonight at home against Warren!
Junior Boys: 43-38
Senior Girls: 60-54
Senior Boys: 45-40
Junior Boys improve to 1-2
Senior Girls improve to 2-4
Senior Boys improve to 2-1
Next game is scheduled on Tuesday Dec. 4th at 6 P.M. against McGhee(Senior girls and boys)

Warren had some biiiiig boys. The Eagles just our played them...Great game! What can you say about the girls....WOW!...if memory serves me correctly....they were down 21-2? and come back to win! This is huge for this team!!!! |

Lady Eagles actually were down by as much as 25-5 in the second quarter, but hit a barrage of threes and shot fairly well from the free-throw line to come back and win it. I can think of only one other victory that I have seen from the Lady Eagles in a decade of covering them that would top this one. It was about six years ago.
