Bastrop players and coaches must issue formal written apology to LHSSA. players to be reinstated for 3rd game. Coaches face stiffer sanctions. LHSSA confirms it was not Ruston or Breaux Bridge that filed complaint. Would not comment on Ouachita, the school the fired Bastrop coach now works for. It it believed Ouachita or Coach Stanley or both filed the complaint with LHSSA.

I think he's probably telling the truth in the whole deal however. He's just seen that he could stick it to Bastrop and he's done so. He's had the last laugh.

They deserve it. That made me feel so good to hear that, because everyone knew what they were doing. There was a certain Hamburg QB that they recruited for his junior season, I won't mention a name lol

I work with a guy that was recruited by West Monroe about 40 years ago. All the so called national power houses are guilty of it.

Pulaski county schools go crazy with all of that, particularly during basketball season. Notice how many times kids who were on the roster of one team one year are on another the next. It's easy to do because the schools are all close together, and most of them have "magnet" status which means that they can recruit for academic reasons. If the kid also just happens to be a great athlete, hey...
Also certain districts in that area still are majority-white and so black students are released from other districts to go there, no questions asked.
I've been told this by several different residents, officials and members of the news media from that area.
