I'm listening to the radio stream of the Arkansas Tech-West Georgia game, but I can't get the ATU stream to work so I had to listen to West Georgia's broadcast.
These guys are hardly better than cheerleaders in the booth. One guy was complaining about a holding call: "It didn't affect the play, I don't understand that." Holding is an infraction wherever and whenever it happens. (I only wish that pass interference was treated in the same manner...who is to say what is and what is not a "catchable pass"?)
About a failed fourth-down try inside the ATU 1 yard line: "Oh give me a break, the ball is spotted an inch from the goal line!" (As if that was close enough, just give it to them! What is this, an non-competitive golf game?)
And finally, both guys decided to talk down about UAM and SAU's campuses. Play-by-play guy called it "scenic Monticello," adding "I call it 'scenic' because there's a big red barn on campus, and no I am not kidding [snicker snicker]." Then adds "And Magnolia has a silo!!! They'd better not tear those down or we'd never find the campuses."
This isn't the kind of on-air behavior that is becoming of professional broadcasters. Granted neither Monticello nor Magnolia are the best places in the world, but you just don't speak like that during a game broadcast.
Finally at one point the play-by-play guy says of ATU's coaches and team, "They're kneeling the ball...that's the smartest thing that we've seen from them today."

It was Arkansas Tech and West Georgia, not UAM, and when I had to leave (late in the third quarter) it was 21-10 West Georgia and Tech hadn't done a gosh darn thing offensively.
UAM played OBU and former Eagle Ray Charles Tucker and was ahead 10-7 last I heard.

Man I wanted to go to the UAM game so bad... I could have gotten in free. I wanted to see Ray play. I haven't gotten to see him since our Sr year....BUT I had to work. ***Please if you ever eat at a place, and there is someone that takes you order and gets you drinks for you... leave them a tip. I waited on probably 12 tables today, and only made $4.00 in tips...and the people I waited on were rude too.... ***

The problem is that a lot of people either don't realize or don't think about it that "tipped" employees (as defined by the state) make far less than minimum wage and depend upon tips as part of their wages.
Personally I think that this never should have been done this way. When I give somebody a tip it's because I think that they deserve a little "extra." I tip for good service and ONLY for good service, and I don't think that restaurant owners should get to cop out of paying minimum wage and force their customers to pay their employees directly.

well the good thing is...if I don't make enough tips, my pay is bumped up to minimum wage, but other than that... my pay is somewhere around $3.75.

Do you know what the amount is? When I was working at a grocery store like 15 years ago, if you made more than $20 in tips A MONTH you were considert to be a "tipped employee" and your employer could back out of paying you minimum wage. I never could figure out exactly how that worked, though...do they re-evaluate your pay scale every month or what?

You are either a tipped server or a non tipped server. Other than that, I really don't know.

I WAS AT THE UAM/OBU GAME AND HEARD TUCKER'S NAME CALLED SEVERAL TIMES FOR OUACHITA. I'D SAY FROM JUST LISTENING TO THE ANNOUCNER WITHOUT KNOWING WHICH ONE HE WAS THAT HE HAD A DECENT GAME, BUT IT WAS JUST TOO MUCH JOHN L. WILLIAMS FOR THE WEEVILS.
