For those of you who didn't know, Carroll was kicked off the Green Bay Packers today. This is apparently because of his attitude in part, and also because he got completely roasted last night against the Eagles. This doesn't involve the Eagles in any way (at least the Crossett Eagles), but there are posts here about the Razorback's, and he used to be one.
It seems like I remember him being a really good player for Arkansas, what happened? Or was he never really THAT good?

He had that same attitude at Arkansas. Showboated often and ran his mouth too much. I'm suprised Green Bay kept him around this long. They were expecting him to be more like Steve Atwater or Kenoy Kennedy but he was never as good as either of those.

Possibly the most overrated player in Arkansas Razorback history. I actually laughed out loud when I heard about this today.
I was so glad the last time that he wore that Razorback logo on his helmet. He is the physical embodiment of everything that is wrong with today's generation of athletes.

This is just his third year I think. He came out after his junior year at Arkansas. He was rated the No. 2 CB in the nation coming out of high school and Nutt did a lot of cottling to get him. That set a bad precedent in my opinion. Ran something like a 10.2 hundred-meter dash and came to Arkansas partly because of the track program.
Ran his mouth more than he ran track. Made him very unpopular among the fan base. He'd get burned on a 60-yard pass play, come back and make the tackle and start jacking his jaw. Stupid. Just completely stupid. And apparently he learned nothing and even was doing that even in the NFL. He also had fans ticked at him for it in th NFL.

he still comes back to arkansas and causes trouble....not too long ago he was arrested in fayetteville for hitting a man at a bar always had a big mouth and could never back it up....had more penalties in his careers that tackles.......  |
