Yet, people keep responding.
I am not for uniforms. I was only for supporting them being reintated for the remainder of the year. I would much rather just buy one set of clothes. I feel sorry for the ones that have purchased them all year, especially for those parents that just got laid off from plywood. The way in which they were laid off, by seniority, will ensure that most of those are school aged parents.

I'm a few days late reading this b/c of college and all. I am sick to death of dealing with uniforms. I actually hate to say the word "uniform". Let them form all of the "organizations" they want to - I'm not afraid of any of them. If Satan himself doesn't scare me, then a mere human sure doesn't!! So what if they are smart. A lot of people are smart. Who cares what their former careers were? They are retired and out of the business now. So what if kids get clothes for Christmas - they get toys, games, etc... also!! By the way Christmas takes care of the "parents have to spend more money on clothes" issue. The kids would get some clothes for Christmas anyway. The board did what the majority of them and parents wanted - get rid of them and never bring them back. I personally thank the board for their decision b/c at least they listened to us!! Something that RC can't or won't do. Also (and this is a VERY BIG issue to me) why should my children and others like mine who do dress properly be punished for the actions and behaviors of certain children and parents who don't dress properly? Punish the ones who are doing wrong and leave the rest alone!!!!!!!!!!!!
