So I went and seen the razorbacks play in Fayetteville and i will NEVER go back to that stadium. Yes, it is very nice stadium but it doesn't come any where close to a Lil rock game. I just love it when you call the hogs in Lil rock and you can feel your feet vibrate and you cant even hear the person beside you talking. In Fayetteville I could hear myself calling the hogs. Loved seeing the Hogs play but was let down on the atmosphere.

ctown the only thing better in LR is the tailgating. I'd much rather see a game on the Hill. As for cpmparing the crowds it all depends on the opponent. I have been to a game in Fayetteville with a crowd as bad as the one in LR for UT Chat. I'll be on the hill this week for the SC game and I'll give you my comparison of the 2.

The UT Chatt crowd was the quietest, least energized Razorback crowd I've heard in my entire life. It's been so long since I've been to a game on the hill that I don't even remember it hardly, so I look forward to your comparison.

I'd also rather see a game in Fayetteville, although the one time that I went there I was in the upper deck (very weird feeling when you get there and the stadium is empty...makes you feel like you're going to topple over when you look down). The stadium looks better, is more comfortable and affords a better view. I've been to two games at Little Rock and in the second one I was forced to stand up the whole time. I don't like paying money for the privilege of standing up for four hours straight.
I can cheer sitting down.

It is much more cramped in LR. By the way I have 4 upper deck seats available for the South Carolina game if anyone is interested.

Here is my report. The atmosphere was awesome ,the stadium rocked!!!! I've seen Vandy, Bama,Auburn, Florida and SC and by far the SC game was the best I've ever been to on the Hill. I only heard one guy ragging Nutt compared to almost everyone a couple years back. The crowd at Fayetteville was much more friendly than that at LR. I enjoyed the tailgaiting at LR but thats about it. For the first time I got to take my time and enjoy the suuroundings. The school and all its facilities are among the best in the nation. At halftime longtime ABC announcer Keith Jackson honored Frank Broyles and was greatly impressed by the changes since his last vivist some 20+ years ago. It was Sr. day and before the game each Sr. Hog recieved a commerative Razorback ball and were escorted out onto the field with their parents. Tears in the eyes for one of the greatest FB's to ever play at Arkansas as he came onto the field. Peyton Hillis was very emotional before his last game at the stadium that Frank built. The entire halftime was awesome as the band formed the A and Frank Broyles lead over 200 of his former Razorback lettermen onto the field. Among them, Ken Hatfield, Cliff Powell(who sang the national anthem), Danny Phillips, Jerry Jones, Barry Switzer, and Jim Lindsey.

Hillis has had a tough time of it up there through the years. Things didn't go the way that he had hoped (obviously). Without the appearance of McFadden, who knows...Hillis might have been much more involved in the offense over the last few years.
I'm not one of these morons who ever thought that before he signed, he would end up being the team's top tailback (*cough*Rick Schaeffer*cough*), but he very well might have been a featured fullback and the Hogs might have been running a different kind of offense.
