Crossett High Shcool is hosting a public rally for the purpose of organizing concerned citizens regarding the opportunities to participate and interact with students, teachers, and administrators at the school. The rally will be held on Thursday, November 29th, at 6:30pm at the city auditorium. The featured speaker will be Jesse Clark, who is a 1978 graduate of Crossett High School. Jesse played football for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, and the Minnesota Vikings. He will be speaking on the importance of education. Participating in the rally will be the CHS band, choir, ROTC, cheerleaders, eaglettes, football team , and basketball teams. All adults and teachers attending will be entered into a drawing for a chance to get into the First National Bank money machine. Students attending will have chances to win various prizes including a lap top computer from Office Zone. All family, friends, mentors, and any others interested in the welfare and well-being of our students are encouraged to attend.

Wow, seems like CHS is trying to make a turn around in this area. I am basing that on this event and the new PTO organization that they are setting up. I hope it works out for them.
