Crossett defeated Alma 2-0 today to advance to the state title game Saturday in Fayetteville. Dylan Campbell pitched a strong 6 innings giving up just two hits. Matt Campbell got the save in a suspense filled 7th inning.

Way to go EAGLES!!!! Good luck Saturday against Greenwood. We are behind you all the way!!!! Buam Stadium is an awesome stadium. I got to tour it last summer with the 10 year old all stars. Beautiful field!   |

Outlaw forgot to mention that the sprinklers run there even during games.
Is that hot tub out there beyond the right-field fence? It was supposed to be constructed during the off-season I believe.

The Hot Tub is in Left Field and it was there last year when we toured the the field with Outlaw

By the way the plans are in place to expand seating at Baum down the baselines. More luxury boxes. Baum is the premier college stadium in the country. Nicer than most minor league parks. I wonder if the state title games will be moved to Little Rock once the Travs new stadium is completed.

It amazes me that Crossett is in the championship game, but only has one all-state player on the team.  I want a show of hands... who is going to make the trip up for the game?? I will be there! I have a graduation at U of A that I have to attend at 12, so I will already be on campus. Good luck guys, I will be there cheering for you! |

I wish I could be there but I have to work and have a makeup game to play at the complex tomorrow. I'll have the headphones on though.

Crossett has been given very little recognition for our baseball team this year around the state. Even on _xtrainnings.net_.......Crossett was not even mentioned in the poll as to who would win AAAA State. Of course, that site tends to be a lot players from the central and northern part of the state running their mouths about how good they are. Even after we have made it to Baum to the finals.....you still don't see much mentioning Crossett on _xtrainnings,net_. After this year.....we may attrack more attention (and respect) from around the state. The good news is......we have a good crew of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders who will be back next year.
Congrats to Mark Gray on selection as All-State. The folks around the state will have a chance to see how great our other players are.......at Baum Stadium. Keep on banging Eagles. I'll see you there.
