CHS base baller - Matt Campbell has attracted the attention of the pro scouts for Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets.
***PoppaEagle was at the ball game, and Matt pitched the game of his life. In the State Championship Game - he went the distance with 11 strikeouts. There are hundreds of pitchers in state who would love to make claim to that.***
***Two great baseball teams going head to head. Big plays made the difference in the game. CHS didn't have the highest score, but Matt and all the CHS Eagles represented Crossett well. Other folks around the state and the pro scouts have taken notice. ***
Monday, May 22 @10 am -E.C. Crossett Field - Matt will pitch for KC Royals scouts.
Tuesday, May 23 - Matt is going to Fort Smith to show his stuff to scouts from the NY Mets.
