Vastly inferior, huh? What happened, did the Eagles underestimate them, or was it good Monticello play-calling, bad Crossett play-calling?

yeah then the running back from monticello ran like an all american. And that was the thing, that guy basically was terrible. He ended up with something like 250 yards rushing that night. It was senior night and very anamolous for him. Crossett came out and scored quickly and then went to sleep for the rest of the night. I think that some of the "superstars" on that team decided that it was so easy on that first drive that they could just coast, and what ended up happening was the biggest upset defeat of CHS in the Ingram era, maybe even years before that. It didn't help that Sylvan Hills also had upset them the week before and they still were reeling from that.

no what KILLED us and i will never forget that missed field goal at sturtgart in double overtime that is what really kille dus if we could have own that game we would have won state
