Does anyone know when the fall baseball league is suppose to start, and when is the football (8-12yrs) going to start?

I just got info that we will know details Monday on Fall Baseball. So far all I know for sure is the planned start date is Sept. 5 and will last 4 or 5 weeks.I haven't heard anything on football.

We will offer on a limited basis so as not
to interfere with Boys & Girls Club Soccer,
Fall Baseball & Softball for 2006 league ages 6 & up.
Go by City Hall Annex at 201 Main to register
before Tuesday September 5th. Season Starts
September 11th. and will run until October 21st.
Cost is $20. per child call 304-2014 for more complete info.
SCHEDULE will include a minimum of 3 Saturday’s
played on during the season.

Is registration still $50 or did they go up on it?? And does it include uniform shirts or will we have turn them back in @ the end of the season???

Does anyone know when the draft is going to be and who are the coaches for 10-11 yr olds?? No one knows anything yet. I was in there last Friday and only 3 people had signed up to coach 5th and 6th. I think the last day to sing up to play is the 19th or 20th. We should know something soon. |

I hope the coaches this year actually know how to teach the game, we do want our kids to have fun but learn something too.

I hope the coaches this year actually know how to teach the game, we do want our kids to have fun but learn something too. We are going to teach them to lead off and oh wait wrong sport! On my team if, I get one , I want to try and teach proper blocking and tackling. Of course that is easier said than done.This years 7th graders really lacked those skills. Anyone want to be a tackling dummy? |
