"Hooten's Arkansas Football" ranks Crossett as 13th heading into the fall football season, but the 5A-Southeast coach's poll picks Crossett to finish seventh out of eight teams, exactly where it finished last year.

It's $17 but I don't blame you. Thirty-two Class 5A teams as always. My opinion is that Crossett is far too high at 13th, but that's just my opinion. I mean there were years when CHS was coming off of 6-4 seasons when Hooten's didn't debut the Eagles that high.

I mean there were years when CHS was coming off of 6-4 seasons when Hooten's didn't debut the Eagles that high. Fifteen returning starters is the main reason they are where they are. Going back to the wing-t and a big o-line are also reasons. |

I thought it was good of Casey Dick when he was asked in the interview in Hootens what his favorite sports moment was. Casey answered, when he killed his first deer hunting with his dad. His lowest moment? The LSU game last year.

I could've guessed what his lowest moment was...heck, I wasn't even on the field, and it was my lowest moment because of all the bottles and what not being thrown onto the field by Arkansas "fans". Even if those people were doing it because of hatred towards HDN or something like that, those players had to feel like they let the entire state down, and probably like the entire state hated them...
BUT I should probably stay off that subject I suppose.

I actually ended up feeling pretty good about that one after McFadden's sprint for the TD. Had it ended before that it would have been one of my own lowpoints.
