Good game guys and good luck the rest of the year. Ya'll showed that you wanted it more this year. If Pachal (spell check) stays healthy, he is definitely a threat along with your d-backs to the teams you'll face this year.

Last night coach Ingram made the best in-game adjustment that I've ever seen him make, and that was switching into that Spread formation. I never figured that it would be this team's best offense but it certainly looks so now. Best of all it was utilized the way that it should be...speed in space. You get your best athletes into gaps and rip off 10 and 15 yards at a time. It's not about throwing bombs on every down.
BTW did anybody else notice the "jumbo set" when Allen Brooks was lined up as a fullback? It basically was a diversion because it ended up being a quarterback sneak.

Our offense looked better last night than it has in years, IMO. The only problem the Eagles are still having is cramps. It seems like it would be an easy problem to fix before the start of the season, but apparently not (I've never been a coach, either, so I may be missing something). Can someone give me a quick recap of Hamburg's 14 points? I didn't get there until 9:00 left in the 2nd quarter. Were they real drives or were they off of big plays?

I have to agree it was one of the best coached games I've seen since T came to Crossett. Hats off to the players and coaching staff for not getting down when is was 14-0. GREAT GAME. Now lets do it again in Mcgehee.

Diggs took the first play from scrimmage about 65 yards and the the Lions took four downs to get into the end zone from there. The other was with a short field after Drew Williams got tackled on the punt snap that went weay over his head. Lions had some very short drives throughout the rest of the first half but that was about all she wrote.

I couldn't figure out where the trophy was, if it even was on-site at all.

I couldn't figure out where the trophy was, if it even was on-site at all. Yeah, I thought it would be cool to have it on the sideline of the team that won it last year at every game, kind of like how most colleges do (like the golden boot).

Cramps were not nearly as bad as the Magnolia game. Hamburg suffered more from cramps than Crossett.

The trophy now is in possession of the Crossett School District. HSD superintendent Keith Alexander presented it to district administrators this morning.

Yeah, I also saw him at the game, but wasn't able to talk to him. I think he may have packed on a few pounds since he graduated. Anyone know when he may get to start?
