Having trouble getting into the Bowl scene this season. I guess because once again Arkansas is at home. Did watch LSU dominate Miami last night.
I really hate the commercialization of the Bowls. The Peach Bowl will be known as only the Chk-Fi-la bowl next season. I guess the Rose is the only one without a corporate name stuck in front of it.
Today's bowls are a joke, too many of them! Rutgers and Akron in a bowl? Come on!The bowls mean nothing anymore. Teams don't have to earn them anymore.

The NCAA has prostituted football out to the point that it is a joke.

When the Devil was the Cotton Bowl played? With the holidays falling on Sunday this year, I stayed confused for the entire week.

They did a horrible job of promotions. Most of the bowls and networks did. I couldn't figure out when anything was going to be played, so I've seen very little so far.

The Disney networks,ABC and ESPN, have carried almost all of them. Fox had the Cotton and NBC had the Gator.

Well what do ya know! We finally had a bonafied National Championship game. The last of the undefeated going head to head in prime time. What a game!! For the first time in my life I was a TEXAS fan. Why? I was sick and tired of all the USC hype of being the greatest team ever. They should have toted one loss into this game. Before they even start to complain about Vince Young being down when he pitched the ball they need to remember the fluke in South Bend. The ifficials gave them awonderful spot after the Leinart fumble, ball should have been at the 3 instead of the goalline.
It was apparent from the beginning the media was pro USC. Even heard Keith Jackson yelling tackle, tackle, tackle at one piont when a Longhorn broke free. Heisman voters should take note of the maturity and leadership Vince Young displayed. Not one bonehead play from the Heisman runnerup.
My hat off to Texas. My 4 hours of being a Longhorn fan are and like any loyal Hog fan I can despise them once again. GO HOGS !!!!!!

I was sort of behind Texas for the same reason. Great game, although I was feeling that midnight conclusion this morning.
People can gripe about the bad no-call on the downed knee, but the officials also blew one Texas interception. And had Texas not missed two field goals and an extra point the Longhorns would have been on top anyway, even without the last TD.
You've got to wonder what Arkansas could have done with Matt Jones in the same kind of offensive alignment that Texas was using. USC simply couldn't keep everyone contained.
