Hooten's 2005 Watch List

Hootens has printed a 2005 State Farm Watch List for 2005. It seems like Crossett & North Pulaski are the two teams from the Southeast that got left off of this list. They have a list for all classifications, but this is the AAAA List:

The 2005 State Farm Awards

The State Farm Awards honors Arkansas' top offensive player, defensive player and coach of the year for each classification during a special ceremony catered by Marketplace Grill on Monday, Dec. 12 at the IMAX Theatre in Little Rock.

The veteran staff at Hooton’s Arkansas Football will select three finalists for each category, and those finalists will be invited to attend the event sponsored by State Farm.

State Farm has a strong, long standing commitment to supporting education and community involvement and is proud to be honoring Arkansas finest young athletes.

I noticed that the other day when I was on the Hooten's site. Did you notice that the majority of the players are from the East or West? Hootens is very biased towards those conferences.

Maybe they're only seniors, but if not, it's absolutely crazy that Gabriel Bryant is not on this list. I'm pretty sure that the Hootens still don't even know that he exists.

I noticed that their defense is ALL East & West with the exception of 2 players from Stuttgart & the player from Hope.

Noticed that Garrett from Wynne is on there, but Boykin, who has well over 1000 and has carried the load all year, isn't.

Like everything else Chad and the gang of fools do, it's a joke.

Besides, Stegall has it already won. Even though his team won't win state, and won't even get to play for it. Watch and see on both fronts.

Cowger winning it last year over Cord Gray was pretty ridiculous, and I wrote the whole thing off then.
