FINALLY, a pretty complete game...it's clear that Mustain's still not ready for prime time, didn't throw a great pass the whole game (got lucky on Monk's touchdown); other than that, absolutely no complaints.

i agree with that heath....i was really pleased with the defense...seems to have shored up some of the tackling issues...was glad to see them get back to the run...you could tell early in the season they had no sense of direction.....i think they figured it out today....not much passing today....shows that a team doesn't have to pass every other play, just make the defense respect it.

We did everything right today, pretty much. We held them to only one touchdown, scored the first running touchdown(s) against Auburn all season, and..of course...beat the #2 team in the nation by 17 points. I knew we had a chance to win this one, but I didn't think we'd do it like this...I expected it to be a close game.

Oh yeah, and I LOVED the Reggie fish trick play, that was awesome. I've seen a lot of trick plays, but I've never seen that one.

Oh yeah, and I LOVED the Reggie fish trick play, that was awesome. I've seen a lot of trick plays, but I've never seen that one. Even the guys on "ESPN College Game Day Final" were talking about how it was something that they'd never seen before.

Yep, and if we can beat the teams that we 'should' beat, we can move up even further. I think the only teams that have a real chance of beating us now are the Vols and the Tigers of LSU. Other than those two, South Carolina is no cupcake...but they aren't as good as Arkansas, and they will have to get very lucky to beat us.

ooo Arkansas was in desperate need of this win if anything just for confidence. they are on the road to a GREAT path if they can keep it going.Mitch also might not be performing as good as we would like him to but he is the first true freshman to him his first 4 starts and thats one heck of a way to start a career.

Barring that one great/lucky catch by the Auburn receiver..we almost held them out of the endzone through the whole game. That alone is something to be proud of. But scoring 27 pts. on one of the best defenses in the nation, that's really impressive (anyone notice that we ALWAYS score 20-something points, no matter who we play? lol)
