really what do most of them come from texas All over but yes, Texas has more than most other states. Texas, California and Florida are the nation's best for football prospects, then it drops down to Louisiana, Ohio, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Pennsylvania.

it really hard for me to believe that Louisiana isn't right under Texas they seem to be booming with athleticism

Louisiana's not far off, but sheer population differences has an affect. There are 35 million people's living in California. Louisiana has around four million.

Mustain again has looked sorry tonight. Dick comes in in the first half and gets two series but for some reason is pulled on the last drive.

Mustain should have had 4 more completions in the first half. the receivers haven't helped much. I did think he came out more focused in the 2nd half. Inserting Casey was a wakeup call to Mitch.
How bout Michael Grant, 3 int.'s !!!!!!

At one time UArk was dead last in D-IA in turnover margin. I wonder what the last few games have done for that.

Yeah, I think the one thing ULM did was reveal the fact that we couldn't defend the QB on option type plays. Their QB ran for 10-15 yards on several occasions. For this reason, I'm more scared of SC than LSU right now. SC is right there with Tennessee, I think we can take LSU though. Not only does Spurrier scare a lot of Hog fans, but Syvelle Newton (however u spell his name) scares a lot of Hog fans including myself.

The SC game has concerned me now for a long time much more than either LSU or Tennessee. On the road, facing Spurrier's offense, the temptation to look past, the lack of adequate preparation in the last three games. This one has "upset" written all over it.

I'm hoping SC will be down after losing the close one at home to the Vols.

Speaking of QB Controversy, how about this: McFadden at QB, Hillis as FG, Jones at HB. Run the option all day long and don't worry about the receivers haha. On a more serious note, Mustain definitely seems to play better against better teams, which tells me he probably underestimates the teams we are "supposed" to beat.
I was REALLY hoping Auburn would lose to Ole Miss, which would mean we'd only have to win two of the four SEC games that are left (Mississippi State, and probably LSU in my mind). Since they won, we have to win all but one, assuming they don't lose one in the next few weeks.
I noticed LSU was ahead of us in one of the polls, even with their two losses. It makes me so mad knowing that program prestige has almost as much impact as your record. We need to get a bunch of foreigners, like people who rank the pro soccer teams overseas or something, and let them do it...they should have no favorites lol.

Arkansas has to prove itself on the field. Best way to take that spot occupied by LSU is to beat LSU.

i dunno...i dunno...i dunno...lol
Think of how god Casey Dick will be next year, if he plays from now on. Then, think of how good Mustain should be next season if he plays the rest of this season. That's the reasoning of the coaches, anyway. And I agree with another point of theirs...you don't change success. Mustain is 7-0 on a team that is 7-1. It's hard to justify changing QB's when Mustain is 60-2 as a starter (60-1 starting and finishing), and 7-0 as a starter in college football.

heath.....you probably know the answer to this right off....what is mustains touchdown to int ratio?....i know we are playing for the future right now and i agree that mustain is the future of razorbacks football at qb......BUT they have played 8 games and i don't see him improving in decision making when it comes to the passing game.....AND they are winning by running the ball.....and ONLY the threat of a passing game they really haven't done anything passing......i guess i am trying to say that in my opinion casey is further along with the passing game right now....or at least would be if given the opportunity

Honestly I don't know his TD-to-INT ratio but I'm betting that the margin is around -2.
