Huge day for Arkansas. ESPN coming to town and bringing the GameDay crew along. Great recruiting tool!! All eyes are upon Fayetteville and the Hogs. Beat the Vols and we earn a little more repsect!!! I hope the Warren boys have a bitter return to Arkansas.

Don't forget our own Derrick Furlow. Although he might not be on the travel squad, I'll bet that the finds a way to get there.
You think that Corso is going to put on Big Red's head? I bet not. They're already setting up Herbstreet (of all people) to be Arkansas' supporter. All of these things are so contrived for the sake of "entertainment"...just makes me ill.

Yeah, I don't think they could care less who wins the game, they just know what they're told to say lol. I can't wait to see the guys from ESPN sitting in front of all those Hog fans.
What do you guys think they'll get on the old db meter? lol I think Texas A&M got like 106db, I wonder if the fans up there can beat that.

Never has been in Fayetteville, which is why everyone is making such a big deal about it.

Probably will be so much Arkansas 'hick' that they probably will never be back. The backwoods seem to come out in alot of people when given the opportunity. Been reading alot about on it hogville.net. Some of the comments are hilarious, while some are just outright vulgar.

lol, I really hope they don't go and make us all look like rednecks (even though some of us/them certainly are). Hopefully they'll be impressively loud back there, but not acting foolish and trying to show out too much lol. I won't be able to be here to watch it Saturday, gotta go to a college thing...but I'm definitely recording it and watching it before the game.

lol, yeah they will probably try to find the most redneck person in the crowd to talk to.
Talking about the fans being back there on Gameday behind the ESPN guys got me wondering about something. The stadium only holds around 76,000 people, right? Why is it that the Razorbacks can often not even fill the 76,000 person stadium, while in Alabama, Auburn and Alabama can both get at least this many people? Are there just that few people in Arkansas, or not so many Razorback fans? And I think Tennessee's stadium holds around 106-108,000.

Until the expansion of Razorback Stadium it was always a sellout and full. I think the big reason it hasn't consistantly sold out in recent years is because the Hogs haven't exactly been on fire. Same thing goes for the basketball team. Another reason is travel. The vast majority of Hog fans do not live in NWA. Many have to travel quite a distance to even get to the stadium. another thing is accomidations. Most Fayetteville Hotles require a 2 night stay during football season and some a 3 night stay. In other words if you stay one night you have to pay for 2 or more. Many don't want to throw that kind of money away. Finally if you want to stay in Fayetteville,Rogers Springdale etc. You must book 6 months to a year in advance. In all the years I've gone to games up there I have never stayed in the immediate area. Ft. Smith ,Alma and Van Buren are as close as I could get. Also rates double during football season. The same room that cost $80 in the summer will cost you $120 or above in the fall.
The good news an additional 200 rooms are being constructed up there this year.

Wow, I didn't know the hotels up there did that. That's retarded, seems really selfish to me. I guess maybe I am too nice to be a business owner

Yeah, they must not care about the guys selling Razorback tickets for $500+, because everyone on the earth knows they do it, and it's against the law. If they aren't going to enforce the law, they don't need to have it.
