Okay guys, lets get this show on the road. What are your predictions on this game, and what do you think the Hogs will have to do to win? Also, do you think College Gameday being there will make any difference?

There is no doubt that College GameDay will get the crowd motivated and the crowd will get the Hogs motivated, so I say Hogs by 17.

if eric ainge is still hurt and the freshman plays as he did against lsu last week the hogs can pressure him and create some turnovers hopefully.....i think the gameday show will definitley hype everyone up....but hopefully not too much....i think the crowd at lr against ulm was really hyped and the hogs were as well and came out flat....so they need to watch that.......run the ball....run the ball.....run the ball....then hit em with some passes to monk and crawford and keep them honest on defense......hogs by 10

I just hope the ULM game doesnt catch up to them. I have no doubt Arkansas can and will move the ball and score, but Arkansas has been hurt by both ULM and Carolina with the quick slants and the passing game. Arkansas might have to outscore the Vols Saturday. Hogs 31-28

I have a strong feeling this game is going to get out of hand quick. I'm seriously thinking this game has the potential to be a blow out as bad as the Ole Miss game. Tennessee is the most overrated team in this conference. The Hogs are going to eat them like fresh slop.

So nobody thinks Tennessee will win, huh? I agree with that, but I didn't expect people to agree with it. I think the Hogs will definitely be ready for this game. Someone said that Tennessee has the most overrated team in the SEC, and I want to add to that. Not only do I think Tennessee is the most overrated, but I think Arkansas IS the most underrated team in the conference, if not the nation. I've heard several analysts on ESPN say that a one-loss SEC team should play in the national championship. Well, Arkansas is the ONLY SEC team that's undefeated in SEC play, so how do you not have them ranked higher in the one-loss teams? There is only one one-loss team behind us.

Yeah, hopefully they'll recognize after the game this Saturday is over. Hopefully they don't say what I heard some say after the Auburn game..."Arkansas beat them, so Auburn must not have been very good." instead of "Arkansas beat them, so they must be a pretty strong team this year."

Otis Kirk predicted an Arkansas blowout.
Of course I don't have much for Kirk.

Is Otis Kirk a radio guy? And I heard some Vols got arrested, what was that for? and does anyone know who it was?
I guess I agree with Otis, I think the Hogs will handle this game fairly easily, but I dunno about a 'blowout'. And I dunno, we've played two passing teams this year, both were USC's...one beat us bad, one came close to pulling off the upset. Maybe we aren't giving their style of football enough credit at Tennessee, we'll see Saturday.

He writes a column for the DEM-GAZ and he can also be heard occasionaly on Sports Rap with Chuck Barrett.

Well, I thought I had predicted a 35-24 win for Arkansas, but I can't seem to find where I said that, so I may have just been thinking it lol. Anyway, I feel like I was fairly close. Their offense couldn't really get anything going until we started putting some new guys in, and McFadden just tore them up.
I also noticed that Texas, Cal, Auburn, and I think another team lost that were all top-10 teams Saturday. This is huge as far as moving us up in the polls, I don't see how we wouldn't make it to the SEC Championship game now (knock on wood). All we have to do is handle Miss. State, correct?

Beat MSU or LSU, or have LSU lose another game, and Arkansas is in.
What won that game for Arkansas last night was defense. The offense was impressive at times (looked much more like a Malzahn offense than what we've seen in the last couple of weeks), but the defense was freaking awesome.

You are right Heath, I thought the Defense stole the show. I was worried about Meachem and Smith having big nights, but kudos to the D and especially the secondary for shutting them down. Its hard to believe this but....I just looked at the new polls..Arkansas #6 in the USA and #5 in the AP. Either OSU/Michigan is gonna lose. Arkansas has a chance, considering everthing keeps going as we hope, to beat florida. 3 teams , Auburn, Cal and Texas all lost infront of the Hogs. I know everything would have to be just right...but gosh we actually have a shot at the NC.

There were plenty of "Volunteers" for that hog butt whoopin' last night! I have never had so much fun as I did at that game, even though it took us over an hour to get 2 miles past the stadium after it was over. The whole atmosphere was infectious! The only negative that I can say, if you can even call it negative, was that they got a little cocky there at the end and allowed them to score that second touchdown. Things are lining up for that SEC game...can't wait!

They just wanted to give Bret Smith a "welcome home" present.

As seen on another message board.
"Opening day of deer season hurt attendance at ARK-TENN game". It seems a number of fans wearing "HUNTER ORANGE" were seen exiting the stadium early in 4th quarter!
