They just wanted to give Bret Smith a "welcome home" present. Did you notice on Sportscenter last night after they interviewed HDN, Brett Smith was standing there waiting for HDN to get through. I could here Houston encouraging him. That shows Nutt's class. Smith is going to regret, and may already regret, going to Tenn.

You missed this during our online chat last night but "The Big Red Fifth-Quarter Show" featured an interview with Smith and he also was VERY classy. Made no excuses or anything, said that Tennessee had been smoked but that he hopes Arkansas goes on and wins the SEC title.

Okay, now how many Tennessee Vols used to play for Warren? two?
Yeah, you can't ask for more than our defense gave us. And I think that second touchdown was scored on some of our 2nd team people.
INJURIES: How is Woods doing, does he have a concussion or did he just knock himself out on that last play? And also, if anyone knows anything about Marcus Monk's rib condition, let me know (bruised, broken?).

Three former Lumberjacks now are on the roster at Tennessee: Bret Smith, RoShaun Fellows and Ricardo Kemp.
I can't answer the other questions. Arkansas has been very hush-hush about injuries this year, but there were a ton of them...we know already that McFadden isn't 100 percent. Dick got hurt, Hillis got hurt, Woods got hurt, Harrison already was out, Parker got hurt. Who am I missing?

Farrod Jackson...reported in the paper, hurt ankle and probably out...gonna use mitch pertus and ben cleveland has FB's.

Not the bellies......the fans did real good... didn't see a whole lot of skin there at the game... anyway just talk to my sis who lives in little rock and she said folks are going crazy up there.. said you can't find a mcfadden jersey anywhere..sporting good stores can't keep up with the demand for Razorback stuff... and tickets are non-existing without cutting off arms and legs to pay for them...

I had the good fortune to get to attend the Hogs-Tn game. From the moment you stepped on campus, you could feel the electricity in the air. We spent several hours visiting various tailgate parties and talking with other fans and everywhere we went, it was evident that these folks love their hogs. At 4pm, they had everyone line the sidewalk as the team walked out one by one toward the field house. The roar of the crowd was deafening and the players were so into the spirit of the fans.
Arkansas dominated the game from the first play and there were well over 76,000 fans dressed in red. Maybe - just maybe - there were 200-300 people in orange.
During each time out, the jumbotron would show a film clip honoring a former Razorback who had gone on to be a war hero in various wars. And during the halftime, they honoroed 3 Purple Heart winners.
It was senior night, so they also introduced each senior and had their families there for picture taking.
This was my first Razorback game in Fayetteville in over 30 years and all I could say was "WOW!" With fans like this team has, it's no wonder they are rolling over everyone. Even Coach Nutt said the fans were the 12th player in this game.
The only downer part for me was when the 3rd string defense let Tenn. get those last 7 points. Those boys weren't paying attention at all.

Yeah, but their first team offense is probably much more athletic than our third team defense, even if they were paying attention lol.
I haven't been to a Fayetteville game sine Cedric Cobbs' first game as a freshman, but I wonder...are the Razorback fans in Fayetteville as rude as LSU fans are? I am friends with several LSU fans around here, but they aren't the same. I go to the LR games every year, and when we play LSU, the fans at the game are pretty much always rude, and I hear they are worse in Baton Rouge. Please tell me Hog fans don't act like this..?

The crowd was electric at the game, before the game, and after the game. Even if you aren't a football fan, I could not see you not being one after that game. I was in the nose bleed section and it was none stop cheering and standing nearly the entire game. Hey, I even think we converted some TN fans!
There was some booing (sp?) when the TN team ran on the field, but that was about it!

Have you ever been to an Arkansas vs. LSU game, Mrs. Day?

Only on television! I had a crazy dream the other night that Ms. Warren called to tell me that she had 8 tickets to the AR vs. LSU game and she wanted ME to have them! I actually called her the next day because you never know ;D I would love to be able to go see them play Saturday. You never know...crazier things have happened. BTW.....I appreciate your politeness, but we are both adults, so please call me Kim. (Plus, I was never your teacher...at least I don't think I was )

Don't kid yourself, Kim. You're not an adult.
I have been to one LSU game in Baton Rouge, with my ex-girlfriend, when LSU was playing her alma mater Miami University (NOT the University of Miami). Miami's ticket allotment was 300 tickets, one little sliver of the stadium in one corner. That section didn't even sell out. It was a night game and I was expecting the worst. Maybe it was just that we were around the "good ones," but everyone treated us very well and in fact we met somebody there who lived in Arkansas once.
Of course we were there supporting Miami and nobody considered Miami to be a real threat or a legit opponent. That could have been a factor also.
This was when Ben Roethlisberger was a sophomore, nobody had heard of him and nobody thought squat of Miami. But unless I'm wrong, Miami went on to win the rest of its games that season and ALL of its games the next season before Roethlisberger went early to the NFL.
I also wasn't impressed with "Death Valley" at all. I can understand why it's called that because the sides of the stadium go STRAIGHT up, and it has this repressive, suffocating feel to it. Not alot of air flow in that place. My opinion of it actually was that it was a dump...big, but old, run down and generally just dumpy-looking.
We went to Reynolds Razorback Stadium the next year and it was much better, much more airy, much more scenic, generally nicer all the way around. Just seats like 20,000 fewer fans.
