The 12 year olds will be in action June 15,16,17 at the Crossett Sports Complex. District tournament will be June 22,23,24,25 in Magnolia. 2007 11 Year Old All Stars  Front Row L-R. The 11 year olds will be in action June 15,16,17 at the Crossett Sports Complex. State tournament will be July 6,7 ,8 ,9 in Cabot. Mr. Hustle Award- Ben Ford Sportsmanship Award- Demarcus Swan

Congratulations Guys...............This is my favorite time of the year and I look forward to following all the All-Stars. Good Luck Guys and let's bring a few titles back home to Crossett.

If you are out and about Saturday night just drop by Norman Park in Hamburg and watch the Crossett 12's and the Hamburg 12's in an 8 inning practice game around 6pm. Two outstanding teams!

Help me understand. Why would we split tha all-stars up into age groups? If we were going to sponsor 2 teams why not have an A team and a B team. Place all the first choices on the A- team then forming the B-team. Wouldn't this give Crossett its best oppertunity to bring home some hardware. I'm pretty new to all of this, so I'm just asking.

I've already answered this question by eddiebuck in private but i will make a public reply now for everyone else.
Babe Ruth rules prohibit a league to have more than one team represented in tournament play unless that tournament is considered an invitational. 7 and 8, 9 and 11 years state tournaments are considered invitationals. The 10 's and 12 have a tournament trail that advance from district to state then regionals and ending in a World Series.
Leagues that have 8 or more teams in an age division are permitted to have 2 All star teams. Players are allowed to play up but not down in age divisions. For example , an 11 is eligible to play on the 12 year old team but the 12 is not able to play on the 11. Crossett lets the coaches of each division decide if younger players play the older players.
