BTW, I have been hearing some gossip from some of Peyton Hillis' family in Monticello...Do you think he is really hurt or that he is opting out for the draft(which is the gossip)?

If the passing game can get on track with the ground game complementing it for a change and jwh's BOY C. Dick logs a lot of bench time, ARKANSAS wins easy. Arkansas 31 and BAD-gers 16. Nope Hillis has an injury that will prevent him from being drafted in the upcoming NFL draft, & after after the super season next year he, McFadden & Jones go 1, 2, 3 in the draft (not necessarily in that order!) Happy New YEAR. 1 last thought, this is a good matchup, even though AR played 8 bowl worthy opponents and lost to 3 of those, Wis. played 5 and only lost to MICH., they never played OS in the Big 10.

Arkansas loses.
Arkansas would lose no matter who the opponent was.
I just don't have much faith in this team at this point.

You think a bruised thigh will keep him out of the draft? Or does he have another injury I am unaware of?

Without Hillis in the backfield I'm not as sure about my prediction. Be may not get alot of carries but his prescence on the field certaintly opens things up. My prediction on him is he will be back. The injury is much more serious than most think. If you believe everything you read on the Hog message boards ,he is gone. I don't , as a matter of fact I quit reading them 3 weeks ago.
Hogs by 6!

I personally don't believe Hillis is opting out for the draft, he has always been a gamer all the way back to his Conway Wampus Cat days. He has been put under once to break up scar tissue surrounding this bruise. I'm hearing that a serious calcium buildup either underneath the bruise or surrounding it is now the problem and it will take surgery or lots of time to heal it. This problem would knock him out of a 1st., 2nd. or 3rd. round and big bucks in signing bounus money. He gets more money by coming back next year and showing the NFL he is healthy. Like Outlaw said, it's not the carries or the receptions it is his presence on the field (not just blocking) that seems to boost the Hogs. He'll be another Jesse Clark in the NFL, a work-horse who just gets the job done day in and day out. I still believe the Hogs can win without him but it won't be easy, WIS has that 3 yards and a cloud of dust mentallaity making them hard to defense. Reggie Herring will earn his pay finding a way to stop them. Malzaugh will get the accolades for the victory but make no mistake the defense will be the difference in the game. HW is not a true Arkansas fan or he wouldn't lose the faith so easy!! LOL Just kiddin' , see what U been missing at K's on Thursday! ;D

I'm not a gambler, but if I was, I would put my money on Wisconsin, too much turmoil in Fayetteville. I could never pull for anyone but the Hogs, just will be surprised if they win.

I think the turmoil exited Fayetteville with the departure of Williams. I expect to see a team focused and re-energized Monday.

I'll agree that the turmoil may have left, and I hope it has, but I am still afraid that they may still be somewhat unfocused on this one. I hope I am wrong, we definitely need the flack to end with a big time win.
