I remember! It was about this era I went to visit a friend of mine going to school in Fayetteville. Basketball at Barnhill!!!
jwh, you will appreciate this....
two other things I remember...... I used Marvin Delph's student I.D. card to sit in the student section. Go figure!!!? My buddy was a firend of his and Marvin's was the only card we could come up with before game time.
On Sunday afternoon....we played in a pick up basketball game at Barnhill. After the teams were chosen.....my job was to guard Dennis (Dirt) Winston. Yes, it was as bad (or worse) than you can imagine.
