Spring Break is coming up soon and the best I can figure...there will be at least a couple of hundred people from South Arkansas in Breckenridge and/or Keystone, Colorado during the last week of March. Several groups are staying at The Village at Breckenridge - Plaza area....or close to it.
There is usually a pretty good group of Ashley County folks who meet at the fire pit gazebo (by the Maggie Restaurant) in the plaza about 8:30 to 9:00 am. From there its just about 100 yards over to the Quicksilver Lift to try and get in the lift line before the crowds really start to hit.
From pre-schoolers to retirees...skiing is a great sport. If you will be in the area......start the day early and join the fun.

Oh yea!!.....there were lots of folks from Ashley County in Summit County Colorado. We did get to see the snow in several conditions from great to crunchy to slushy. We did get to ski in bright sunshine as well snow storm conditions. It did snow about 10 " up top the last day to make for a great powder day. I skied harder this week than I have in several years. I can still keep up with "most" of the whooper snappers. To be 65 years olds.....Bobby Richardson is still "the man" on the ski slopes. I can almost keep up with him. I did get to see several first time skiers/boarders do a great job within a short amount of time. A great time.....a great sport.
