Rumor has it Bob Vila is coming to Crossett to do a special project that has to do with putting up some doors with a very well known Crossett citizen

That's interesting...I honestly haven't heard anything about him in a while, and didn't know he still did stuff like that. I haven't heard much of him other than tool commercials and stuff.

Bob Vila's notoriety began as the host of "This Old House," a staple of PBS in the very early '80s. It was the original home-makeover show, although (in the beginning at least) it focused on only one home for an entire season. It actually showed the processes used to make the repairs so, at least in theory, people could replicate them in their own projects.
Growing up I was subjected to watching both this and "The Victory Garden" on many cool fall Saturday mornings.

Vila will be offering a free clinic Tuesday morning at 9:00am followed by a hotdog/hamburger cookout courtesy of our very own [glow=red,2,300] hogdog[/glow]. All those interested in attending drop him a line or give him a call. Should be a very exciting event. Pass the word to all your friends and relatives.

That's pretty cool. Is this for any televised events, or is he just going around the country doing this to help people?

Bob getting his tools together to hang them doors this morning @ Outlaws. Be sure and check out Bob's Tv show cause you will be able to watch Crossett's very own at work.
