I wouldn't put any stock into the kicking game until there has been a solid season of converting 40-yard field goals.
Also, what's the deal on Mortensen? I had forgotten about him, honestly. Apparently he couldn't stick anywhere. It makes me wonder if he really was as good as Otis Kirk and others led us to believe when he was signed initially.

So far in practice Tejada has been very consistant. 40+ will not be a problem for him. Not sure about Mortenson and his return.

Afting doing some digging it appears Mort has decided he wants to be a coach. He and his Dad feel that sitting the bench at Arkansas would be better than sitting on the bench at Samford. He doesn't expect to play and isn't considering himself a challenger for the QB spot next year. It is basically a move to enhance his future career as a coach.
