What are your predictions in the ULM vs. Tulsa game? It will be my first time cheering for the Warhawks, but from what I hear, they should give me a lot to cheer for this year. Calvin Dawson at RB (1200+ yards and 11 TD's last year, and also rushed for over 100 yards vs. Arkansas, Bama and KY) and QB Kinsmon Lancaster should handle ULM's scoring effectively, and I'd be willing to bet it will be a fairly high scoring game. Only 4 days away I also just found this: www.thenewsstar.com/news/blogs/blog9/2007/08/does-this-get-you-excited-about-ulm-it.html See reason 2: the #5 O-line in the nation. I had no idea they could compete on that level at any position on the field, very impressive for such a small school.

I've got to remember to watch or tape this, since I'm a Tulsa fan now.

Sorry Heath, but I'll be rooting against your new favorite team Should be a great game, though. It would be cool if you could come out and see it, I think the tickets are only like $9 and it most likely won't be a sellout crowd.

Would love to but I've got a junior-high game to cover that night. Duty calls. I'll be a slave to covering football on Thursday and Friday nights until mid November or later.

Don't expect to be able to watch the game around here on TV. Will probably be blacked out here. The game isn't a sell out.

Should be able to get it if you have dish. I have dish and I can almost guarantee it will be blacked out for me as well. It may not, but I think it will.

35-17 Tulsa was the result. The first half was awesome, as ULM went into halftime with something like a 17-10 lead I believe. Tulsa's passing game is borderline perfect, but their QB did throw one pick (which could've swung the win the other way, had he not fumbled the ball trying to return the pick). I had a blast though, I can't wait for ASU now
