Here's part of a preview of Western Kentucky's upcoming basketball season that mentions Jeremy Evans:
The top returning inside player for the Toppers is undoubtedly 6' 9" 190 pd. sophomore Jeremy Evans. A thin, lanky jumping jack from Crossett, Ark., Evans made an immediate impact as a freshman last season. In only his second game as a Hilltopper he scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds in helping lead WKU to a victory at the University of Georgia. For the season Evans finished with a scoring average of 7.0 ppg while also leading the team on the boards with 5.9 rpg and in blocks with 44 for the season. Like his sophomore counterpart A.J. Slaughter, Evans has unlimited potential and Hilltopper fans should begin to see more of that potential this season as Jeremy should see the majority of his minutes at the power forward spot rather than at center. Look for Evans to really blossom in 2007-08. Coach Horn recently stated, "Not only could we see Jeremy’s athleticism and length, but we could tell that he was skilled — he hasn’t been able to show that yet like we know he is going to. He can really shoot and handle the basketball.”

:)I'm hoping I get to speak with him a little before or after the WKU vs. ULM game; I haven't talked to him since high school. I hope ULM beats WKU, while Jeremy gets a double double lol

He's banged up right now (again); he missed their preseason game. It's his ankle (again).
