Well Tebow wins just ESPN wanted. Now ,will he flop in the bowl game just like Bush,Smith and many other Heismen winners? That's been the tradition, win the Heisman and look like a fool in your bowl. Tebow is a great player and a good guy, but I credit ESPN for getting him this award. Too much negativity surrounding Arkansas that has repeatedly been expounded upon by ESPN.

I don't believe he is the player DMac is, and that's not because I'm biased (this time). 90% of his 20+ rush TD's were from 5 yards out or less. The Heisman trophy has become so political now that I don't even watch the presentations. IMO, it's been about four, if not more, years since the best college football player won the Heisman...sad.

If you look back over the last 20 years years ,NFL has stood for "Not For Long" to Heisman winners. Jason White didn't even make it to the next level.

Yep, the Heisman trophy basically goes to the best player on one of the top 5(ish) big-name schools. That's becoming common knowledge, too, and I'm sure that just gives these schools yet another recruiting edge over the 110+ other schools. All these coaches have to say is "hey, you can't win a heisman at that school or that school- you have to go to a school like this one to have a chance". I'm disappointed in the Heisman system, if you can't tell lol.

We as Arkansans as well as the ones that have had the opportunity to watch D-Mac know what kind of player he is. One thing about it, we will be able to watch him next year more than likely on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Having watched the show, I almost puked in my chair when Corso went to talking.

One thing is almost a 100% certainty- Tebow will never make the money McFadden does in the NFL, even if he ever ends up starting. I think Tebow is a great kid, but I don't think he is deserving of being the first ever sophomore winner of the Heisman. McFadden, last year, was WAY better than T. Smith (who will never start in the NFL). It's a sad day in sports when ESPN picks the Heisman winner, without even voting.
