i am not goin to say anything bad about the band but they are no were new the caliber as the ones in the past. You are right. They play better. |

One of my goals for next football season is to get together a CHS alumni band to play at homecoming (or some other game)! I talked with Mr. Mac about that and he said that is something that has been talked about for several years, but nothing ever came to fruition. I think that it would be fantastic. Does anyone know any other schools that have done this? Mr. Mac would love that. |

I think that the comparsion that people have been drawing isn't between today's band vs. the ones of five to 10 years ago, but between today's band vs. the ones of 20 to 25 years ago. I wasn't around here to hear the band in the '70s and early '80s, but to hear people talk the band at CHS was not only bigger then, but also better. Again that's what others have said...not me. |
