Unless something has changed Outlaw that is not the case. I have asked about this and was told that there would indeed be a jr high band. The only thing is from my understanding there will only be one band director for both bands. Mr Trigg is gone and he was not replaced.

Jeff, any particular reason why Trigg left but was not replaced?

Basically he was going to be reassigned to North Crossett to work with the smaller kids out there. He did not want to do this, therefore he resigned and the decision was made to not replace him for financial savings. The opening in NCP came about after Mrs Garner was promoted to Dean of Students at Daniels and Mrs. Rainey moved to her spot. There will be both bands as I said earlier. I did however happen to run into Mr Mclarin today and he said there would not be as much marching for the Jr High as in the past, but they would still do some and play as much as in the past. He did tell me he is sitting on 70 kids right now in the Sr. High group. If he can maintain this is a good number.

There will be a NHS Band. Emphasis will be placed on playing more than marching. The 7th graders from last years beginning 6th grade class have been added.
