The Crossett 9 yr. old all stars have had a successful tournament. I may be a little off on the numbers but basicly they have: defeated Rison 18-5 in the 4th. defeated Star City 10-0 in the 5th. lost to Cabot 10-0 in the 4th. defeated Cambden 5-3 in the 6th. defeated Sheridan 13-0 in the 4th.
They now face ElDorado today at 4:00 in ElDorado on Field 2. ElDorado put the Jr. Deputies in the lossing bracket before getting knocked down themselves by Maumell.
It is my understanding that we are now in the top 6 teams remaining in the tournament including Jr. Deputy, Maumell, ElDorado, Bryant, Crossett and probably Cabot. The boys have played hard and represented their city well. We are very proud of all of them. We expect today to be a very tough game for the boys and we hope that they will all play their best; if they win they will advance to the top 4.

The Crossett 12 and 11's came away with big wins yesterday in state tournament action.
The 12's pulled away from Sylvan Hills in the 4th inning after a very tight first 3 innings to win 8-2. They take on Stuttgart today at 11am .The game will be broadcast on QLite. Immediately following the Crossett Braodcast will be the Hamburg 12's.
The 11'srallied in the 6th inning to defeat Jacksonville 2-1 in opening round action in Camden. They will be in action again Sunday at 10 am. Big Reggie Martin went the distance on the mound to pick up the victory. Mason Harper knocked in the winning run.
Good luck to both teams.
Don't forget the 10's and 9 will both be in action next week in regional play. The 10's are at hom,e and the 9's will be in Maumelle. If you aren't busy Monday evening these 2 teams will be playing a practice game at 6pm out at the complex. Come on out and get a glimpse of these guys as they prepare each other for regionals.
