I saw what looked like a QB on the practice field today doing cone drills of some sort- anyone know who our starter is probably going to be? He was a pretty big looking kid. It's possible that he was either not a QB or even not an Eagle, but I'm assuming be the way he was running, holding the ball, and the fact that he was on our practice field that it was one of our QB's.
It almost looked like Gvona Turner, I wonder if he came home for the summer?

I've talked to a couple guys who know football and they are very impressed and very excited about what they are seeing. Everyone need to realize we are about to enter a special time in the football history of Crossett. We need to appreciate every moment. Those who are old enought to remember the period of time from 1977 to 1985 know what it's like. Just look at what success has done to the whole atmosphere of Bastrop. You feel it no matter where you go in Bastrop. Get ready for that feeling to migrate north.

If that was Lincoln, he really looked like he has good size from the road, and it's very impressive to see a HS student out there practicing alone on a Saturday. I have yet to experience any measure of success other than the '03 season, so I can't wait to hopefully see what it feels like

It was Turner he will be home part of the summer. I looked in on practice last week and I liked what I saw. The final scrimmage should be fun to watch.
