I was there & I was impressed with both sides of the ball. Our defense is awesome!! And I'm kinda partial to the offense - I think they're pretty awesome as well. I was really impressed with the way it was run. Coach Ledford is going to run a tight ship. Everything ticks like clockwork. The guys know what they are suppose to do and when - and from what I've seen they execute it well. I think he is bringing a winning spirit back to Crossett High School!!! Win or Lose - I'm ready to see him and his staff bring that excitement back to Eagle Country!! This entire coaching staff has to be one of the best in the state. It looked so good to see Greg Johnson back in maroon!!! I can't wait till August practices begin!!!

Well, you definitely got me that much more excited about it!  Theres always excitement around a new football coaching staff, but I really think we will see some serious improvement this year. If we have a defense as good as you say they looked, we could really go far- hey, defense wins championships right? And our conference is weaker this year than last, there are probably 3 teams (+ us) that most people think are good; other than that, most people seem to think the other teams are kind of a step below. Weaker conference + stronger team = more wins....seems logical to me anyway lol, hopefully, it holds true. |
