I heard tonight that the Crossett Eagles did really well in a camp they attended this past weekend. I was told they were the best looking team there. We may have another state championship headed our way.

That's usually how it goes though I guess, U do good and they will cover it. Maybe they can protest and keep Heath off the side lines this year....................lol

Finally got an answer for you guys, we played Nashville, Magnolia, El Dorado and Ashdown. Very stiff competition mixed in there for sure. If we genuinely outperformed Nashville by even a small margin, we are looking way, way better than I had expected as Nashville is picked to win the 4A state championship again (surprise surprise).

Outlaw and myself attended the 7 on 7 game tonight and I think Crossett is really going to open some eyes this year. I was very impressed with the speed that Crossett has this year. I will go out on a limb and say Crossett could very well take it all this year if they can get past Monticello.

I did like what I saw last night. although 7 on 7 is alot different that regular football. Our QB's looked good throwing the ball. Team speed looked good also. Coaches are very enthusiastic. Can't wait to see the running game incorporated. What I was impressed most with is the pass coverage. The defensive guys were actually looking for the ball while covering their guy. Crossett is going to suprise some people this year.
