The 15 Y/O District Tournament begins today (Friday 7/7) in Hampton, Arkansas. Game Time is 3:30 PM and the it will be broadcast on Q-Lite Radio. EaglesVoice will be broadcasting the action with a little flavor by PoppaEagle. First opponent will be El Dorado.
This 15 Y/O team goes into the tournament with 10 of the 12 players having pitching experience during the regular season.
This should help as tournament play goes on. Tune In....this bunch of kids should be fun to listen to.
Team members are:
Justin Austin, Jac Miles, Pierce Williams, Tyler Huntsman, Gage Rice, Bruce Hunt, Brandon Bryant, Jacob Lockwood, Nick Boston, Josh Chambless, Chase Meeks, Josh Gibbs, Manager Pete Meeks, Coach Rick Williams, Coach Darryl Lockwood.

EaglesVoice will be broadcasting the action with a little flavor by PoppaEagle. The Dynamic Duo. This'll be interesting. We need to start a little pool on how long it will take for Chester to tell everyone that there will be cake and desserts after the game at Rick's house. I'm saying before the second inning. |

Well....if nobody else had fun....EaglesVoice and PoppaEagle had fun..... Even though the 15 y/o Crossett All~Atars lost to El Dorado by a score of 11 to 5. I think that was the score.....even though I was keeping the score book and adding flavor to EaglesVoice.....the exact score is vague after 3 hours.
It was a good game until the 6th inning when El Dorado had a 6 run 2 out rally. Paula Anzalone was pitching for El Dorado. His fast ball wouldn't be that!! bad if he didn't have the wicked breaking pitch mixed in with it.
Crossett plays Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm in the first game of the losers bracket. If we win then....we play again at 6:00PM.
It will be broadcast again on Q-lite radio.

Results as of Sunday Night 7/9/06 -
Crossett defeated Fordyce in the first round of the losers bracket......we then defeated Magnolia.
That puts the 15 y/o all stars playing the loser of the El Dorado and Hampton game at 6:00 pm on Monday night. The game will be on Q-Lite 99.5. The winner of this game on Monday will play for the championship on Tuesday Night.

Crossett 15 y/o's defeated Hampton 8 - 3 to win the loser's bracket. Crossett will play for the district championship tonite (Tuesday 7/11/06) at 6 pm.
Crossett will have to defeat El Dorado twice in order to claim the championship.
Q-Lite radio 99.5 will carry the game - 6 pm, Good Luck guys!!!
If Crossett does win district....state tournament begins Friday 7/21 in Arkadelphia.

Final results of the 15 y/o District Tournament...
El Dorado wins the championship over Crossett by a score of
10 to 4. Crossett played a good game.....only 2 Crossett batters struck out and only one error committed by The Eagles.... & we hit the ball..... it was just usually to someone. El Dorado had a great game and came swinging the bat..... 3 HR's, 1 Ground Rule double bounce over the fence....some thing like 5 singles, 4 doubles and 2 triples. They hit'em where we wasn't.
The Crossett 15 y/o's had a great run at it and after the game there was a lot of visiting between the El Dorado and Crossett players.....two good teams with good kids playing the greatest game ever.
