I hate to even ask but what is everyone feeling about the game on Saturday? I want to be optimistic and say we will hold our own but i dont believe we can. Casey has been looking good at QB but he hasn't faced anyone like Texas and we have been having alot of dropped passes against teams that didn't have star DB. We all knew our Defense would be an issue this season but i had hoped we would just have a shoot out every game but the Offense has been having alot of problems themselves.

Texas' pass defense is currently ranked 109th in the nation, so I think it will be a shootout. I also read a quote a while back from a UA assistant coach that insinuated we were preparing for Texas before the season started, so maybe we can get it done. I'm also highly optimistic, though lol.

Ark may be hoping Ike will suggest a cancellation.

If you were at least weeks game it was looked as if Petrino was just trying to get the running game established in the first half. I don't think he had planned for the defense to give up the points they did though. It was almosr as if he was toying with the Warhawks. When the chips were down the real offense stepped in and exploded. I guarentee ULM didn't know what hit them in the 4th quarter. Can't spot Texas 20 points and expect to win. Defense has got to show up for the whole game not just when absolutely needed. Offensively I think Arkansas can score against anyone in the country. Will they win? Not holding my breath but hoping they can keep it close. Petrino may be praying for Ike to speed up a bit.

I beleive we can score as well but if they dont want it to be a blow out they need to get the ball and sit on it every play. Maybe that way when we make our 4th qrt comeback we wont be that far behind lol

Yeah, it's looking like it will be postponed to the 27th, which is an open date for Texass and Arkansas. Even if the weather isn't that bad in Austin, the refugees will be headed that way and creating problems that would be hard to deal with. I don't think it's set yet, but I do figure it'll be postponed. Let me point this out, as well- every coach keeps saying Jay Wright is the most impressive WR we have right now, yet he's the only one I know of that hasn't caught a pass yet (or at least caught the least of them). Maybe Petrino is saving him for the 'Horns, or at least lets hope so. On a side note, it was really fun seeing my Warhawks up so big on Arkansas at the half. That said, I'm glad Arkansas won lol
