Congratulations to the Jr. Eagles on a heck of a ball game tonight in Monticello. We saw this team starting come together 2 weeks ago in El Dorado and this week they left it all on the field. The game ended in a 20-20 tie but they fought to the end. Orlando Robinson led the Eagles with 2 TD's, with one coming on the opening kickoff. Big Reggie Martin got a linemeans dream by picking off a Billie pass and rambling into the endzone for a score. It was really great to see all the High School coaches there in support of these guys. The Jr. Eagles will be at home the next 2 weeks against Pine Bluff Roby and Monticello. Come out and support these guys as they bring home a win next Thursday. On a sad not Jr. Eagle Sean Gaught suffered a broken leg early in the first quarter. The last info I received is Sean was being tranported to Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Please keep Sean and his family in your prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.

They will come around too, that's still awfully young. Our Jr Varsity team did real well in Monticello a couple weeks ago as well, winning 19-6. I really feel things are looking up for the Eagles.

Best game of the year and where was the local paper? Don't tell me Monticello was too far to drive!! Jr. Eagles will be at home against Roby Thursday night. Everyone come on out and show these guys some support. They haven't played at home since week 2. Sirl Wright has created a mean defense loaded with speed.

Jr. Eagles defeat Monticello 22-14 tonight. Folks these guys have come a long way in the last 4 weeks. They get better and better each time they play. Can't wait till they are sophs and and get to play with this years juniors and sophs. Seems like the talent pool isn't as shallow as some have stated. By the way that d-line features a couple of pretty darn good baseball players too. The o-line has a couple also. Can't wait till baseball season!!!

The Jr. Eagles didn't fare as well in Star City as inthe last few weeks. The Eagles a rash of turnovers that lead to several Bulldog TD's.
On the bright side they did learn on the way home that they earned a share of the conference title!
