They will have to win out for sure. That would mean beating Monticello next week. They would also have to have a bit of help. I'll try and figure this all out Thursday and post it.

There are still a bunch of variables to be worked out, but the whole mess hinges on the Eagles winning out. That doesn't happen, nothing else matters. Should the eagles win out, they will still need a couple things. 1. They need Monticello and Beebe to win the rest of their games, except Monticello vs Crossett. 2. They need White Hall to beat LR Mills. Not totally necessary, but it would make things easier. 3. They need to beat North Pulaski, McClellan, and Monticello by thirteen points to get all tiebreaker points they can. Even if all that happens, it still looks like it may come down to a tiebreaker situation and the Eagles must not be in the position of having the least number of tiebreaker points. Should Crossett, Sylvan Hills, and White Hall end up in a tiebreaker situation with a 4-3 record, Crossett would have to have more points than one of the other two. If they do, the team with the least number of points will be out. Crossett and the remaining team will be matched up head to head. If it is Sylvan Hills, Sylvan Hill would be the #3 seed and Crossett the #4. If it is White Hall, Crossett would be the number #3 and White Hall the #4. There is a scenario where Crossett could make it with the other two teams being Sylvan Hills and Mills also in a tiebreaker situation. Crossett would get no better than a #4 seed in any event if those are the other two teams in the triangle. For those who don't know what playoff point are, each time a team wins a conference game they can receive up to thirteen tiebreaker points for the margin of victory for each game won. You get nothing for a loss and you don't lose points. Teams want to win all conference games by thirteen points or more. If a tie results between two teams at season's end to decide playoff seeds, they are just compared head to head and the team that won that match up wins the tiebreaker. If three or more teams end up with the same record, the two teams with the most tiebreaker points are compared head to head for the playoff spots. I am not sure what happens if two or more teams have the same number of points.

OK, I've dug a little deeper and found a few more answers. 1. A Crossett/Mills/Sylvan Hills triangle leaves Crossett out no matter waht since they lost to both teams. 2. Should a triangle of teams end up tied in playoff points, A coin toss decides the two teams. The Eagles must win out and White Hall must beat Mills.
