Should be a Great Game! Take the Eagles and the Lions line 'em up to play anything and you'll get a good game, but when it comes to FOOTBALL everyone just seems to step it up a notch or 3! Really looking forward to being back in the Press Box at Yarbrough Field Once AGAIN! LOL

You cannot honestly predict the outcome of this game, or at least I can't. If both teams play to their capability, it should be a good game. I think it will be a coach's game more than ever with the smarter coach winning which should be by a pretty good margin. OOPS, I almost predicted. I am looking more forward to this game than I have any in the last 2 years. I hope I don't get disappointed. I may even have to wear a colored t-shirt if some are still available.

I know a person who knows a person who has connections that could get his hands on a Welcome to the Eagles Nest shirt or a Crossett Eagle Game Day shirt. Just let me know what size and it can happen!!

How do you explain this to a Crossett Eagle Football player who is about play Hamburg tomorrow - I've played Hamburg and tied... I've played Hamburg and lost... I've palyed Hamburg and won... Even after 35 years, the tie still makes me wonder what we coulda/shoulda done...the loss still hurts....the win still feels good. Eagles....give it all youv'e got every play.....leave it all out on the field....you've got lots of folks in Maroon and White who will be rootin' for you. PoppaEagle says.... GIT IT BOYS!!!!

If I told what was really said about the coaching last night, I would probably get banned from this site---permanently. I won't do that, this site will be here when our coach is long gone.

It's funny how Hamburg said how terrible Greg was when he was in Hamburg and now they are saying the same exact CRAP about their coach now.........HAmburg needs to get ready because Crossett is on the way to the top for several years to come.

When everyone in a town thinks they are smarter than the coach and meddles with his team, no one can succeed. They've done it for as long as I can remember.

Actually it was not everyone in town, but a select very few plus the school board and a superintendent that abandoned ship. It was said by those mentioned above that the football program needed to take a different direction, they have gotten exactly what they ask for. Now, in my opinion as well as countless others, it needs dealing with again.

I agree old lion, it was not everyone in town, there are some great people in Hamburg who want the best for Hamburg Football and know allot about what it takes to be successful. I believe Mr. Dyson will listen to those people and Hamburg will recover from there mistake of sending Greg to Crossett. The small group of people that wanted Greg out are now 0-2 against Crossett. I would like to say THANKS to that small group of people for helping Crossett get moving in the right direction!!

Be fine with me if it is a decade before they win again. I'm now hearing the excuse for the win by Crossett last night. All I got to say is that I'd like to know how the officials caused all those fumbles.

I saw several calls made against the Eagles look like one line judge lived in Hamburg. It was a well coached game and good game by the eagles. I don't believe the score would have been as close as it was if our guys had not gotten tired on defense on the possession where the Lions went down the field pretty easily for the score.

The Eagles dominated this game from the kick off. The game was not as close as the score showed. This game was over from the start, and everyone knew it. Maybe the refs were knocking the ball out when we were not looking and that was causing the fumbles!

Well it's being said. Being said that the crew was hand picked to give Crossett the edge. Boggles the mind.

Hmm, well was part of the referees' strategy to assist Crossett to allow the Lions at least 2 uncalled offsides? I thought for a while the Lions were trying to join the Eagles D-line!! lol
