Well, I for one was complaining about the one line judge early on, but the refs didn't deide the outcome of the4 game. The Lions just got it handed to them and sometimes the truth hurts.

If anyone is saying the officiating was lopsided in favor of the Eagles, they are nuts. I saw several calls made against the Eagles look like one line judge lived in Hamburg. It was a well coached game and good game by the eagles. I don't believe the score would have been as close as it was if our guys had not gotten tired on defense on the possession where the Lions went down the field pretty easily for the score. Well it's being said. Being said that the crew was hand picked to give Crossett the edge. Boggles the mind. Makes you wonder who they think is high enough up to "hand pick" the refs.

THANK YOU Hamburg for being dumb enough to run off Greg Johnson!!! As for the refs, you'd have to be an idiot to think they helped Crossett! They (the refs) did nothing to help the Eagles win!!! Didn't you see the purple thru those white pants they had on! However, it didn't work!!! GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the hand-picked ref's weren't aware of the "favor Crossett" situation.....otherwise, we might not have gotten the Excessive Celebration penalty after the first touchdown. What was up with that!!?

What was up with that!!? I didn't see the EXCESSIVE CELEBRATION on the field. I was too busy EXCESSIVELY CELEBRATING in the stands.

They can whine on. I'm movin' on. McSkeeterville is next up. Would like for Beebe to roll into Crossett in two weeks to a 2-1 red hot Eagles team. McGehee better be on guard 'cause this Eagles offense can score from anywhere in the stadium. They could score from the dressing room if the Owls aren't careful.

Eddie you got it right about the skeeters. I lived about a mile from the High School for about two years while I was in McGehee and went to one ball game. The biggest reason was I worked every Friday night at Wal-Mart, the second was I could not stand all the bugs! Saying all this I was born in Dumas, you would think I would be use to the bugs, but living in Crossett has spoiled me. It also cracks me up when people here complain about the skeeters, Crossett doesn't know skeeters like the Delta does. ;D
