Well, Monticello folks have succeeded in the their efforts to be rid of Coach Van Paschal. He has left to be AD/Coach of Barton. He has had an uphill fight his entire time there. Would not wish that job on any man.

The folks in Drew County were calling for his dismissal after his first season. Doesn't make sense to run off the coach after winning a sate title. Go figure!!!
Then again it was a good time to bail. Talent not as strong this year.

Heard that the gurus stripped him of his AD position and he told them to stick it. According to www.monticellolive.com Tiner is the new head coach. |
